From the 9th through the 14th of December, 2024, the Quintessential Healthcare Centre, which is a registered education provider for the COLOMBO Plan Drug Advisory Program held a training for Substance Use Disorder Professionals.
This training was open to Medical Students, Doctors/Nurses, Pharmacists, Psychiatrists, Counselors, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Healthcare Professionals, Residents in Psychiatrist, Family Physicians, Occupational Therapists, NGOs and CSOs. the benefits of this training also include: Getting certified as a Universal Curriculum trained addiction treatment professional, Acquiring membership of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), Getting prepared for the United State centre for credentialing and education of addiction Professionals Final Examination, Getting International Recognition as an addiction prevention or treatment expert, Getting International Certification (ICCE) to work in several countries of the world, lastly, you get points of continues medical education.
This training started since 2020, and it’s been consistent year in, year out.
